Led by Elizabeth Shinn, this 50-hour training dives deep into the fundamentals of bodyweight HIIT Pilates and safely layering in resistance to create a balanced, full-body, fat-burning experience. You’ll learn how to build intelligent, results-driven classes that are accessible for all bodies, with a focus on form, function, safety, and longevity.

Training Curriculum
This 50 hour training is designed to give you both the knowledge and practical skills to confidently teach (or practice) Hot HIIT Pilates + Weights. Each weekend builds on the other—starting with foundational movement principles and progressing to advanced sequencing with resistance.
WEEKEND 1: BODYWEIGHT FOUNDATIONS
Focus: Alignment, mechanics, and the core structure of Hot HIIT Pilates
- Core principles of Hot HIIT Pilates: heat, intensity, and endurance
- Safe bodyweight movement: posture, alignment, and injury prevention
- Understanding HIIT structure: intervals, timing, rest/recovery
- Class breakdowns: warm-up, core, cardio bursts, and cooldowns
- Verbal cueing, energetic teaching, and presence in a heated room
- Practice teaching basic sequences with feedback
WEEKEND 2: WEIGHTS
Focus: Layering resistance and adapting the format for strength, safety, and inclusivity
- Incorporating weights: safety, muscle engagement, and smart progression
- Creating accessible, all-levels classes using modifications and variations
- Sculpting sequences that build long, lean muscle and burn fat
- Programming balanced classes that support mobility, recovery, and strength
- Teaching practice with weights: full class creation + delivery
- Coaching for confidence: voice, motivation, and group energy
Throughout Both Weekends:
- Anatomy and functional movement principles
- Injury prevention and contraindications
- Hands-on practice and peer feedback
- Business and branding basics for launching your HIIT classes
- Final class design and mock class teaching
