Natalie
Teacher Training Lead Instructor
Natalie has been teaching yoga for over 25 years, beginning her journey after moving to Santa Barbara in 1997 and stepping into her first public yoga class. Though she initially felt physically out of place, the internal shift she experienced was immediate and profound. That moment sparked a lifelong devotion to understanding the why behind the practice, leading her into an ongoing study of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Natalie completed her first 200-hour teacher training in 2000 and has since accumulated over 1,500 hours of advanced training across multiple lineages. She is deeply rooted in the belief that the quality of her teaching is inseparable from her dedication as a student. While balancing life as a householder, she studied Prana Flow with Shiva Rea and later received extensive Ayurvedic education through the Kerala Academy of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Today, Natalie teaches all levels, weaving together Tantric yoga principles with Ayurvedic wisdom. Her classes are thoughtfully informed by the rhythms of the world around us and are known for creative sequencing, intelligent alignment, breath awareness, and a skillful balance of challenge and support. With warmth, humor, and care, Natalie invites students to reconnect with their innate wholeness—leaving class feeling grounded, energized, and fully resourced.
